Here is the second and final edition of L’Écho des Battures for 2014, an opportunity to take stock of the past season. You will learn almost everything by reading the second page of this newsletter. Despite the prevailing gloom, our museum enjoyed good attendance, and the events held this summer were very well received. We will take advantage of the winter period to carry out a few improvements in the museum, while awaiting its complete overhaul once we finally have access to the second keeper’s dwelling…

When I reread my most recent editorials, I am forced to note that matters are not progressing as quickly as I would wish, whether regarding UNESCO or the transfer of the Grave Lighthouse to the Conservatoire du Littoral, and the provision of the accommodation that should normally result from it…
