Member’s outing
Member’s outing
Since 2005, the Association has organised an annual one-day outing to the Cordouan Lighthouse, exclusively reserved for its members.
This day alternates between lectures, musical performances in the chapel and in-depth visits of the lighthouse, offering everyone the opportunity to better appropriate this exceptional structure and its history.
A much-appreciated moment of conviviality, the shared lunch is traditionally accompanied by an oyster tasting.
2025 Outing — A friendly day around the Hourtin Lighthouse
The 2025 members’ outing brought together around fifty members of the Association for a day dedicated to discovery and conviviality.
As it was not possible to travel to the Cordouan Lighthouse for the annual outing, the Association chose to organise a visit to the Hourtin Lighthouse, a lesser-known site of maritime heritage. The weather, considered uncertain the day before, ultimately offered participants a beautiful day.
Between visits, times for discussion and moments of sharing, this outing allowed members to discover another emblematic lighthouse, in a spirit faithful to the values of the Association.
